This month please pray for KICY Radio Station located in Nome Alaska. “KICY is owned by Artic Broad-casting Association, which is a 501(c) 3 non-profit, affiliated corporation of The Evangelical Covenant Church. KICY serves native Alaskan villages throughout the Seward Peninsula, Yukon and Kuskokwim Del-tas and the Russian regions of Chukotka, Kamchatka and Siberia. Their staff is comprised of full-time and
part-time volunteers. KICY first signed on Easter Sunday April 17, 1960, and has continued to broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ throughout western Alaska and Russian Far East. After almost 65 years and multi-ple changes in both staff and equipment needs their studio building needs some major work. Over the next three to five years, they plan to implement a two-phase project to more efficiently conduct radio operations and better house their volunteers. Phase one is to construct a small triplex adjacent to the studio building to house their volunteers.
